NO Recommendation on wearing Face Masks on Board ANY More

From 1 July 2021, the Swedish Public Health Agency abolish the recommendation to wear face mask during rush hour in public transport.

You no longer need a face mask on the Öresund trains in rush hour traffic between 07.00-09.00 and 16.00-18.00 on weekdays. Of course you can wear one if you want to.

Many regional transport companies still offer face masks to those who have a valid ticket. Read more on each regional transport company's website to know which rules apply and where you can get a mask. You will find a link to the regional transport companies further down on this page.

Remember that face masks are a complementary action - so keep avoiding traveling during rush hour, keep your distance, wash your hands often and stay at home if you are ill.

    Travel to Denmark

In Denmark, you are required by law to have a face mask on arrival at Kastrup, Copenhagen Airport.
