Buying a ticket on board the train

When boarding a train in Skåne or Denmark

If you are travelling by train in Skåne or Denmark you have to buy your ticket before boarding. If you don't have a valid ticket/travelcard you have to pay an 800 SEK fee.

When boarding a train in other counties

If you are boarding the train in other counties you can buy a ticket on board for a fee of 100 SEK.

The on board supplement is not charged if a ticket cannot be bought at the station, e.g. all ticket machines or are out of order. At some stations there are several ticket machines, if one machine is out of order please try another.

If you are disabled and unable to buy a ticket in the ticket machine, we will not charge an on board supplement.
